Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to address destructive or compulsive behaviors, unhealthy relationships, addictions (drugs, alcohol, food, pornography), anger, shame, codependency (addiction to people and control), past abuse and so much more. People can find freedom from any hurt, hang-up or habit that is making their life unmanageable.

Our Schedule: Monday Nights in the Family Life Center (Large Group @ 6:30 pm; Open Share @ 7:30 pm)

There are 3 main components that make up the Celebrate Recovery Program:

LARGE GROUP -- This is where everyone meets together to hear either a recovery centered teaching or a personal testimony of a change life. We consider this a "shoulder to shoulder" experience.

OPEN SHARE -- This is the time we break into separate gender and issue groups where each person is safe to share their struggles and victories with others who share their similar hurts, hang-ups and habits.

STEP STUDY -- It has been said that "you go to a meeting to feel better, but you work the steps to get better." Step Studies are a safe place to work through the Jesus-Centered 12 Steps in a gender specific group. Step Studies are a minimum 1-year commitment and meet on different nights of the week. It's a place where the "why" behind addictions and behavior can finally be uncovered and freedom can be found. We consider this a "heart to heart" experience.

PBC Students is our student ministry for junior-highers and high-schoolers. The teenage years can be both wonderfully transformative and incredibly trying at times. Our goal is to bring the transforming hope of Jesus to students in Livingston County and equip students to do this work as well. Currently, we offer two main gathering streams:

Equip (discipleship class) - Meet on Sundays during the 9A service in the Family Life Center. For junior-highers and high-schoolers.

Small Groups - Meet on Wednesday nights in age-specific small groups at homes.

In addition to these gathering streams, we have various events throughout the year. Here are some upcoming events:

  1. Mix Night - Wednesday night, April 7th - All junior-high and high-school students gather at PBC.

  2. Secret Church - Friday night, April 23rd - Worldwide simulcast from David Platt.

  3. Mix Night - Wednesday night, May 5th - All junior-high and high-school students gather at PBC.

  4. PBC Students Mission Trip - July 25th-31st in Knoxville, TN.
